St. Vincent de Paul Society

Parish members of the St. Vincent De Paul Society take care of the needs of parishioners who find themselves in a temporary needy situation. The society is able to assist them through the generous and voluntary donation of or parishioners.

Youth Group

The Youth Group is comprised of our young adults. Their focus is to become closer to Christ through service to our parish and community. They actively participate in parish events, and through their efforts, they build a stronger, more diverse faith community.

Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a prayer group consecrated to the Blessed Virgin, who is our mother in the order of grace. Members entrust themselves to Mary to sanctify souls and to better a troubled world, for she is a sure path to Christ. In the words of Pope St. Pius X, we pray that Mary may, “Restore all things in Christ.” Members meet every Thursday in the rectory basement.

Holy Name Society

The Holy Name Society fosters devotion and prayer for the Holy Name of Jesus. Members gather on the second Sunday of each month, attend the 8:00am Mass, and receive the Eucharist. Following Mass, a business meeting takes place in the school basement. all men of the parish are welcome.

Golden Age

This society seeks to build a vibrant community of older adults. They gather every Monday from September to June, 12 noon to 3:00pm. Activities include bingo, cards, and conversation. Coffee and cake are served at each meeting. Special events include holiday luncheons and trips.

IACA – Italian American Catholic Action (L’Azione Catholica Italo-Americana)

IACA brings together Italian-Americans for worship and friendship. Its main purpose is to unite with love, respect, and charity all Catholics, helping them live the Catholic Fith. Members from September to June in the rectory basement.

CYO – Catholic Youth Organization Sports Association

The St. Francis of Assisi Sports Program exists as a non-profit, voluntary organization solely for the promoting, organizing , and developing youth sports programs. CYO is a complete and diversified program, providing supervised, structured recreation that is facilitated through instructional and competitive sports. It serves young people of all ethnic backgrounds between the ages of 4-18. Its mission is to encourage fairness, compassion, truth, cooperation, respect, sportsmanship, ad self control in the face of adversity.
Girl Scouts

The Saint Francis of Assisi Girl Scouts is an integral and empowering program for girls in grades K-8. It is affiliated with the Girl Scouts of Greater New York and the Girl Scouts of America. Its mission is simple: build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.  Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, it helps girls discover, connect, and take action to positively impact our parish community. Meetings take place every other week, from October through June.
